More than an illustrated novel, The Night of Elisa is a true Art Book, packed with beautiful pencil illustrations, digital art concepts and paintings. * * * Sometimes, life and love can follow the most obscure paths, just as they did for Elisa. Her life becomes a dark, cold, lonely cage the day the devil takes her as his wife. He robs her of almost everything she holds dear: her health, her wealth and what is left of her family. Trapped between the nuances of life and beyond-life, Elisa finds herself struggling for a better tomorrow. With her health deteriorating, how will she summon the courage and strength to stand her ground? And how far will she go in the pursuit of a dream? Embark with Elisa on this puzzling Gothic adventure set in the late Victorian era, between the world of the Living and the picturesque, melancholic Duskland. * * * Genre: The Night of Elisa is first and furthermost Victorian Gothic, but can also fit within other genres such as Dark Fantasy, Paranormal, Mystery and Occult. Parental guidance: for 16+ | Contains blood, nudity and dark themes.

So recently, I was invited on a few podcastsEW
and even granted a regular slot on another.
And I had a lot of fun. So much fun, in fact, that it occurred to me, as someone who is often a verbal thinker, and who really enjoys conversation, that maybe this was something I should think about getting into in my own right - A Show Of My Own, if you can dig it.
My thoughts quickly turned to my enthusiasm - because enthusiasms are most definitely where it’s at where podcasting is concerned. There’s little or no money in it (a thought I shall return to later), so if you’re gonna do it ,you’d best be in love with the subject.
So I mulled it over. Doctor Who was an obvious choice, but given the many excellent podcasts
already covering that topic, I wasn’t sure I’d have anything meaningful to add to the subject. Also, it’s a bit… well, big. Pex Lives, God love them, have committed to covering every single classic series story - at a podcast a month, that’s a ten year project. Yowzer.
Stephen King was another strong contender. I’ve read most but not all of his catalogue, and a monthly ‘cast where I re-read a book and had a guest on to talk about it had some appeal… but that’s a hell of a lot of reading, especially given some of the word counts, and I have little enough time to engage with new material as it is.
I thought about other things, but my mind kept returning to one thing - one of my great loves.
I am talking of course, of Robocop.
It was announced today that Terror Films has acquired North American rights to the erotic, psychological thriller Goddess of Love , from director Jon Knautz. Terror Films is planning a wide ancillary release, for the film, across all major digital, EST and VOD platforms in the fall. As part of their recently announced partnership, Raven Banner Releasing will be handling the Canadian distribution, while Automatic Entertainment is overseeing distribution for the rest of the world.
In the film, Venus (Alexis Kendra), a lonely, eccentric woman, meets Brian (Woody Naismith), the man of her dreams. A sexually fueled, passionate relationship begins. But, as time progresses, that wonderful honeymoon-phase changes into something hellish. Brian breaks things off when his old fling, Christine (Elizabeth Sandy) comes back into his life. Completely destroyed, Venus begins a downward spiral into madness as she acts out her twisted fantasies of love and revenge.
Goddess of Love was an official selection at Film4 FrightFest, in London and the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival. The film centrally stars Alexis Kendra. Kendra also co-wrote and produced the film with director Jon Knautz, Woody Naismith and Elizabeth Sandy.
Jon Knautz quote: “I'm glad to have found the proper home for Goddess of Love with Terror Films and I'm excited to unleash it this fall.”
Alexis Kendra quote: “I'm thrilled to be working with Terror Films and I hope the audience loves the film as much as we loved making it.”

Jedi Summer marks the first collaboration between Boden and Post Mortem Press, and is Boden’s first foray into long form fiction, focusing primarily on short stories until now. The book is scheduled for publication in late July 2016 and will be available in trade paperback and eBook editions.
Jedi Summer with The Magnetic Kid has been described as coming-of-age tale certain to please fans of Robert McCammon’s A Boy's Life and Ray Bradbury’s Something Wicked This Way Comes .
Johnny and his kid brother, Roscoe, spend their summer eagerly awaiting the much anticipated release of “Return of the Jedi” at the local cinema. While it starts out as any other summer, the summer of 1983 is different; there’s something in the air that’s not quite right.
When asked why he chose to add Boden’s novella to Post Mortem Press’ growing line-up, Beebe stated, “John is an amazing storyteller without pretense. His stories grab the reader by the collar and the heart- strings, using no gimmicks or hyperbole. Readers truly walk in the footsteps of Johnny as he experiences a summer like no other. Sure, it’s a coming of age story, but it’s not your typical young teen angst that fills the coffers of what passes for literary fiction today.”
Boden’s work isn’t easy to categorize. “What I think of or put to paper is a little too offbeat to be classified as traditional fiction, not weird enough for the bizarro cats...I'm just quite lucky to be writing in a time where it's quite alright to let your literary freak flag fly unfettered,” adds Boden.
An extensive social media, print, and audio marketing campaign will be launched in early July 2016, leading up to the July 22, 2016 release at the annual SCARES THAT CARE convention in Williamsburg, VA, as well as via Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com and other on-line retailers.

The Quarantined City: sealed off from the outside world, with only the sight of the ocean to remind its inhabitants of life beyond. No one knows why the city has been quarantined and conspiracy theories abound.
But for Fellows life continues largely as before. He walks the streets, hunts out rare books; the sun continues to shine and the gulls circle above.
There’s the small matter of the ghost haunting his house, but Fellows doesn’t let himself think of that.
But when he tracks down a story by the reclusive writer known as Boursier, his old certainties fade as he becomes aware that the secrets of the city, the ghostly child, and the quarantine itself, might be more connected than he thinks...
“There is an edge of Murakami here, we are in a world just slightly skewed from our own but all the more foreign for that. Everington has a crystal clear prose style, reminiscent of JG Ballard but, like China Miéville, twisted toward the gothic...” Damien G Walter
“Good writing gives off fumes, the sort that induce dark visions, and Everington’s elegant, sophisticated prose is a potent brew. Imbibe at your own risk.” Robert Dunbar, author of The Pines and Martyrs & Monsters
“Everington is excellent at evoking a mounting sense of unease, turning to dread, that close, oppressive feeling when everything is still and ordinary, but the whole world is filled with the sense that something huge and terrible is just about to happen.” Iain Rowan, author of One Of Us and Nowhere To Go
